CSR Development Officer
The role in one line
Turn ideas into funded projects. You will build corporate partnerships, raise CSR funding, and help expand SLRD’s work in sustainable agriculture, rural livelihoods, climate action, FPOs, agroforestry, and rural enterprise.
This is for someone who enjoys networking, writing strong proposals, meeting decision-makers, and getting into the field.
What you’ll do
Connect with companies, CSR foundations, and donor agencies, and pitch SLRD’s projects to them. Build CSR partnerships that match corporate ESG and sustainability goals. Track funding calls and convert conversations into formal proposals. Write concept notes, budgets, and project narratives that clearly show need, impact, and outcomes. Travel to project sites, meet communities, and coordinate with field teams, FPOs, and government departments so every pitch is backed by real implementation plans.
What you bring
A graduate or postgraduate degree in social work, rural development, management, agriculture, communications, marketing, or a related field. Three to five years in CSR fundraising, corporate partnerships, proposal writing, donor engagement, or rural livelihood projects. Strong networking and writing skills, confidence with corporate and government stakeholders, and a willingness to travel.
Why SLRD
You will work on projects that create real impact at the grassroots: climate-resilient agriculture, FPO strengthening, biochar and biofertiliser models, agroforestry, value addition, and rural micro-enterprise. The role gives you both field exposure and high-level partnership building.
