The School of Livelihood and Rural Development (SLRD) is a mission-driven organization committed to addressing the twin challenges of sustainable development and climate change through community-centered approaches.

SLRD is incorporated under Gyanav Social Welfare Society, a 22-year-old not-for-profit society registered under the Societies Act, headquartered in Bhopal. Gyanav holds 80G and 12A tax exemptions, enabling partnerships through grants, CSR support, and philanthropic contributions.

We empower communities through sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, climate action, and sustainable livelihoods. Our work spans grassroots innovation, capacity building, and inclusive development across both rural and urban India.

SLRD supports FPOs, youth, and artisans to build resilient communities through access to technology, training, financial literacy, and market linkages, promoting enterprise development for inclusive growth and long-term impact.
