Delivered Completed work
- Eco-restoration and community based natural resource management across 4 sites in Madhya Pradesh and Meghalaya, 200 beneficiaries, 12 months, covering native tree plantation, soil and water conservation and community led ecological monitoring.
Under way Work in progress
- The Living Soil Initiative across 200 to 500 hectares in Panna and Satna, converting lantana, parthenium and Prosopis juliflora into biochar and biofertiliser, with cleared ground replanted in native species.
- Work around the Panna Tiger Reserve, building the enterprises the eco-sensitive zone notification permits.
- Catchment treatment designed and budgeted inside the Dima Hasao and Udalguri clusters.
Water and catchment treatment
Water security here is treated as catchment work rather than irrigation supply, and budgeted inside the cluster projects rather than as a separate programme. Catchment treatment around each unit is planned so cultivation carries water through the season.
Clean cooking (design stage)
Clean cooking is being developed for its environmental case: fuelwood pressure on forests and biochar for the farm. No household programme has run yet, so it publishes as an area of design rather than a delivered programme.
One claim is deliberately not made: evidence on crop raiding after invasive removal is mixed, so the case here rests on grassland recovery and prey base rather than a promise of reduced conflict.
