SLRD–YesEarth Flagship
Guardians of the Green
Building a nationwide cadre of ecological stewards
To ensure long-term survival of trees, community engagement and continuous monitoring, the mission includes a specialized Train the Trainer (ToT) program that creates a certified cadre of environmental leaders to train and mobilize youth, educators, communities, NCC cadets, FPOs and eco-volunteers across India.
← Back to mission overviewPurpose and Rationale
India’s plantation efforts have historically struggled due to poor post-plantation care and lack of local ownership. The ToT Program addresses this gap by building grassroots leadership to ensure tree survival, community education, biodiversity monitoring and green livelihood development.
