SLRD Field Intervention
Explore Our Work Across India
Discover climate action, sustainable livelihoods, agroforestry, renewable energy, biodiversity conservation and community development initiatives across India.
School of Livelihood and Rural Development works across India to build practical, community centred models for sustainable livelihoods, climate resilience and environmental restoration. Our work connects rural development with climate action through sustainable agriculture, agroforestry, aromatic herbs cultivation, biochar, renewable energy, watershed development, biodiversity conservation, Farmer Producer Organisation strengthening and community led carbon projects.
SLRD’s interventions are designed as integrated models where farmers, FPOs, women, youth, tribal communities and local institutions are active participants. Each intervention is planned to improve livelihoods while also restoring soil, water, biodiversity and local ecosystems.
Our work is presently focused across Northeast India, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and community led carbon project locations.
Integrated Field Architecture
The same core architecture is adapted across regions. Sustainable agriculture, FPO strengthening, bamboo and agroforestry, aromatic herbs cultivation, essential oils, biochar, biofertilisers, renewable energy, watershed development, biodiversity conservation and digital monitoring are planned as connected activities rather than isolated projects.
Regional Pages and Sub Pages
The Northeast India page brings Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland together as detailed, anchored subsections within a single, easy to navigate page. Dedicated pages are also available for Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Community Led Carbon Projects, so visitors can understand the specific focus, expected outcomes and implementation logic of each geography.
